The Archives Section in the Government Administration Building will provide limited services from tomorrow until October 9.

The Ministry for the Cabinet Office advised the public that during this period, all enquiries and requests for records must be submitted via phone at 297-7737 or by e-mail at archives@gov.bm. It said responses will be provided within 24 hours.

There will be no walk-in service or retrieval of records for general research during this time.

A spokesman for the ministry said: “These temporary service changes will allow archives staff to conduct a full audit of the collection and reorder shelving and the location of records.

“The Ministry for the Cabinet Office apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their co-operation.”
