Dennis Joell ‘humbled’ to bowl perfect game
Monday was a perfect day for bowler Dennis Joell after he rolled a perfect game in the Continental Bowling League.
The 42-year-old scored 300 for the fourth time in his career at Warwick Lanes and was proud of his achievement
“Bowling my fourth perfect game is still a proud and humbling moment,” Joell told The Royal Gazette.
“No matter how many times you do it, rolling a 300 always feels special. It takes focus, rhythm and experience and I’m grateful to have reached that level again.
“I've been bowling for 15 years and for the past ten years, I’ve had the honour of representing Bermuda as a member of the Bermuda bowling team.
“The sport has given me the chance to compete internationally, build lifelong friendships and constantly push myself to improve.
“Each perfect game is a reflection of that journey, the years of practice, dedication and love for the sport.”
