The Bermuda Four Ball Championship, scheduled to take place at Port Royal Golf Course this weekend, has been postponed because of the threat of inclement weather .
The Bermuda Golf Association, organisers of the event, are now hoping to stage the two-day championship on February 21 and 22 at the Southampton venue.
A total of 92 players have registered for this year’s tournament, with 30 teams in the Men’s Championship, 15 in the Senior Men’s Championship and six teams in the Ladies Championship.
After finishing runners-up three times in succession, the pair of Jevon Roberts and Oliver Betschart came away with a one-shot victory over James Godwin and Christopher Ford in the final round to land a maiden title last year.
