Review conducted of hospital’s Continuing Care Unit

A review of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s $13,800-a-month Continuing Care Unit has been done by experts from Boston. But Bermuda Hospitals Board say the completed report from clinical partners at Massachusetts General Hospital is not for public consumption.A BHB spokeswoman told The Royal Gazette: “Bermuda Hospitals Board has formal associations with a number of east coast partners, who are our clinical partners.“They often work with us to review our services and help us develop, in line with best practices. This has been a positive benefit of our association with them.“Mass General agreed to assist us with a review of our Continuing Care Unit. This has been completed and we are devising an action plan based on its findings.“The report itself is an internal document but we will be happy to share our improvements as they take place.”
