No new positives from 803 tests

More than 800 coronavirus tests that came back yesterday were clear.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health said that 803 test results showed no new cases.

The total number of confirmed cases remained at 154.

Four cases are active and under public health monitoring, but none are in hospital.

A total of 141 people have recovered and nine have died.

The ministry said that 50 cases came in from overseas and 85 were on-island transmissions with a known contact.

Another 19 cases were transmissions from unknown contacts.

The spokeswoman added: “The average age of all of our confirmed positive cases is 59 and the age range of all of our positive cases is from 18 to 101 years.

“The average age of all deceased cases is 74 and the age range is 57 to 91 years.

Bermuda's country status is “sporadic cases” and the seven-day average of the island's real-time reproduction number is less than 1.
