Final Docs for Dinner of 2023

Speaker: Stanley James, the owner of Premier Health and Wellness Centre, is to talk about healthcare disparities at this year’s final Docs for Dinner (File photograph)

A talk about healthcare disparities next week will mark the final Docs for Dinner event of the year.

Stanley James, the chief executive and medical director at Premier Health and Wellness Centre, will be the featured speaker on December 12.

The Bermuda Healthcare Services presentation series is held quarterly and can be a valuable educational resource for Bermuda’s doctors.

Dr James will speak about Healthcare Disparities in Bermuda: A Journey from Inequity to Justice.

Ewart Brown, the chairman of BHCS, said: “After months of trying to lock down a busy Dr James, we finally agreed on a date for his presentation at Docs for Dinner.

“This son of the soil is a widely respected speaker, researcher and preacher.

“We are honoured to have him present exclusive new data at this quarterly event.”

Dr James holds a medical degree from Loma Linda University, an MA in religion from Andrews University and is pursuing a PhD from the University of Aberdeen.

The event will be held at Blu Bar and Grill, in Warwick, and is the last of the series in 2023.
