Medical chamber temporarily offline at hospital

The hospital’s hyperbaric oxygen chamber, used for medicine as well as diving-related applications, is temporarily out of service.
Bermuda Hospitals Board said that “unexpected staffing issues” meant the facility at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital was closed.
A spokeswoman said: “We hope to resume operation of the chamber next week.
“Anyone who is planning to dive over the next ten days or so should be aware that hyperbaric treatment will not be available.”
