Top neurosurgeon to address latest doctors’ dinner
A networking dinner for Bermuda’s medical sector will feature a neurosurgeon and academic for its first event of the year.
Zoher Ghogawala will lead his presentation, The Future of Comprehensive Spinal Care, during Docs for Dinner.
It will examine the changing field of spinal care, with special focus on the relationship between surgical and non-surgical specialists, the newest in non-invasive technology and the role of artificial intelligence.
Dr Ghogawala serves as chairman of neurosurgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Centre and teaches as a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Massachusetts’ Chan Medical School.
The event will be hosted by Bermuda Healthcare Services.
Ewart Brown, the founder of Bermuda Healthcare Services, said Docs for Dinner reflected the group’s commitment to promoting education and collaboration within Bermuda’s medical community.
He added: “By creating opportunities for physicians to learn from internationally respected leaders while connecting locally, we strengthen the quality and sustainability of healthcare in Bermuda.”
The dinner at Blu Bar and Grill in Warwick on Thursday will begin with cocktails at 6.30pm, followed by the dinner and presentation at 7pm. For more information, call 737-7007.
