RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd is to increase the quarterly dividend to $0.28 per common share, from $0.27.The increase was voted on by the company’s board of directors and will be payable on March 28 to shareholders of record on March 15 2013. The company has increased its dividend during each of the 18 years since its initial public offering.The Board also authorised an increase in the company’s repurchase programme, bringing total current authorisation to $500 million.
