Afiniti lightens the mood with 'purrfect' video

A light-hearted April Fools’ Day video by Bermuda-incorporated data and software company Afiniti has brought smiles to the faces of many people.

Featuring Bermuda scenes filmed by local crews, the promotional video explained the concept of Afiniti's "Purr Better", a riff on the company’s "Pair Better" tagline.

Afiniti develops artificial intelligence software used in call centres to boost efficiency and outcomes for businesses.

The spoof video claimed it had now applied its AI knowhow to pair cats with people looking to adopt a pet companion during socially-distanced times.

Within a few hours of going live on social media platforms on Thursday, the video had notched up more than 400,000 views.
