Twenty-five speakers have been lined up for the Insol International Bermuda seminar on Thursday at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club.

Insol International is a world-wide federation of national associations of accountants and lawyers who specialise in turnaround and insolvency.

The seminar is organised in association with the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association of Bermuda, an Insol International member association that is supported by restructuring professionals on the island.

The seminar will provide a day of networking opportunities and thought-provoking sessions from high-profile speakers who will discuss the latest developments in insolvency and restructuring.

John Wasty is a partner and head of the dispute resolution practice in Bermuda for law firm Appleby, which is a gold sponsor of the event.

He will attend with firm colleagues Sam Riihiluoma, Lalita Vaswani, James Batten, and James Sellick.

Mr Wasty said: “Appleby is very pleased to support Insol International and are delighted for the return of the seminar to the island once again.

“We value Insol’s dedication to maximise global economic value by improving solutions to cross-border issues and advancing restructuring and insolvency systems through the deep expertise of its members globally.

“The seminar will provide a valuable forum for discussion on the topics most relevant to the industry.”

The seminar co-chairs are Kehinde George of ASW Law and Mike Morrison of Teneo.
