Lorna Hutchman is new Penrose partner
Lorna Hutchman has been named as a new partner to Penrose Partners, the award-winning digital asset consultancy.
Previously the Bermuda-headquartered firm’s chief marketing officer, Ms Hutchman has supported a range of high-profile clients, including Coinbase, Circle and Apex Group.
In her new role, she joins managing partner Kerem Kolcuoglu and fellow partners Sean Stapley and G. Clay Miller in the firm’s leadership.
Penrose said Ms Hutchman brings deep experience in digital assets, having previously held roles at TalosTrading, an institutional digital asset infrastructure company and Blockchain.com, a full-suite digital asset exchange and services platform.
She has also held roles at the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications, highlighting particular expertise across Europe — a key region for Penrose Partners’ continued expansion and European growth strategy.
“Lorna’s appointment reflects both the immense value she has brought during her time as the firm’s CMO and the confidence we have in her leadership,” Mr Kolcuoglu said. “She combines exceptional client management skills with a values-led approach to business growth and operations. We’re proud to recognise her impact and are excited to see her future contributions towards our firm and our clients.”
Ms Hutchman added: “I’m honoured to step into this role at Penrose Partners. This is a firm with tremendous ambition, and I look forward to continuing to support a world-class roster of clients while also mentoring our next generation of talent across the business.”
This appointment comes ahead of the upcoming Bermuda Digital Finance Forum, hosted annually in Hamilton by Penrose Partners and co-hosts SALT, taking place from May 11 to 14.
The conference has established itself as a leading global convening for digital assets, technology and finance, generating more than $1 million in local economic impact last year and attracting senior industry leaders from around the world.
Penrose Partners continues to invest in leadership and talent as the firm scales its global operations, advising public and private sector institutions on strategy, business development and education programmes.
Penrose helps to drive the global adoption of digital assets to create a more open and inclusive financial system.
The firm’s client list includes the Bermuda Government and its work is international, spanning a number of cities, including London, Montreal, New York and Toronto.
