Free webinars on skills to help careers
Career-enhancing skills such as resume writing and networking will be shared in an upcoming webinar series.
The Department of Workforce Development is hosting three free webinars in collaboration with consultancy firm Performance Solutions.
The first webinar, Reposition Your Resume and Identify Transferable Skills, will take place on Thursday, June 10 from 12pm to 1.30pm. It aims to help participants identify and highlight their transferable skills when writing a resume.
The second webinar, titled The Power of Networking, will be held on Thursday, June 17 from 12pm to 1.30pm. It will provide tips on opening lines, working a room and using LinkdIn and other online tools to follow up with contacts.
Finally, Interviewing for Success will be held on Thursday, June 24 from 12pm to 1.30pm and will examine the interview process including interview etiquette.
The webinars will be facilitated by Amrita Bhalla, senior human resources consultant for Performance Solutions.
