The Minister of Economy and Labour, Jason Hayward, is holding a press conference on Bermuda’s minimum hourly wage, which came into effect today.

It will require businesses to pay their staff at least $16.40 an hour but there has been controversy as employers will be allowed to include gratuities to get to the minimum wage mark.
