May 17, 2011Dear Sir,Who decided to re-grade the roundabout by Swizzle Inn on a weekday at prime time for visitor air arrivals? Traffic was still backed up to past Dub City Variety at 6pm. Apologies are useless but a refund should be offered to all of our visitors for Government causing inflated taxi cab rides as they were stuck in traffic and had to pay more than the usual cab fare.The Government employs consultants. Do they not listen to them or do they simply ignore their advice?There is no excuse on an island this small to have 90-minute plus traffic delay times. Suppose there was a medical emergency or police/fire needed to rapidly respond to an emergency at the East End.I finally throw my hands in the air! What were they thinking? Yet again!ST GEORGE’S
