Pass on green savings

Dear Sir,

I have endeavoured to be environmentally conscious throughout my adult life but I am getting heartily sick of our larger corporations and companies touting their green credentials only when it saves them money. How many plead with us to use electronic statements and payments, reminding us of how many trees we save? I'm a self confessed tree-hugger and applaud their position, but I'll believe their motives are from the heart and not their wallets when the savings they make in paper purchases, printing, mailing and processing costs are credited to each customer's account. Any company out there want to tell us how much money they could save if we all went electronic?
