November 19, 2011Dear Sir,I just purchased a Norbest turkey. I noticed the grocery store’s price label stuck on top of the Norbest one so, being curious, I peeled it off.According to Norbest, my turkey’s net weight is 9.92 pounds, but the grocer had it at 10.05 pounds. I don’t think it has been unwrapped and reweighed and it’s only 37 cents difference in cost but do turkeys gain weight when they enter the Bermuda Triangle or do th grover’s scales need recalibrating?If turkeys do gain weight, would that also apply to humans because it could explain why so many people here also seem to have put on weight?WEIGHT WATCHERPembroke
