November 16, 2011Dear Sir,Mr Edness’ letter of November 12 does in fact “hit the nail squarely on the head in making his point"!In 2011, to announce that we will “start the process of examining the feasibility of introducing a separate Equality Act to address discrimination against sexual orientation” is simply prolonging the travesty of injustice that is sadly still in place.We are all human beings and we would just like to be an amendment to the Human Rights Act along with everyone else. There is no need to treat us differently.When are you “all” going to “come out of the closet” ( if you will ) and simply admit that the time has arrived for Bermuda to join the rest of the world in condemning and legislating against this form of discrimination?BANNED IN BERMUDABoston, Massachusetts
