A disgraceful imposition

March 19, 2012

Dear Sir,

Are doctors and dentists being burned into bankers? Just as I would not go to a banker to check my pulse, why should I go to a doctor or a dentist to get a loan to tide me over until my insurance company paid my medical claim? This is exactly what the blockheaded politicians are saying, and as reported in

The Royal Gazette of March 19. The people who cannot balance their own books are asking our medical professionals to finance the public by converting them to part-time bankers. This is a disgraceful imposition on honourable professionals but is quite in keeping with the absence of professionalism displayed by our politicians over many years. Thank God I don’t need an incompetent politician to check my health for I would be dead by now.
