April 9, 2012Dear Sir,I e-mailed the Corporation of Hamilton with the following:I cannot believe that you have only had ten people contact you with regards to filling in the pond in front of City Hall. PLEASE DON’T DO THIS. Hamilton is losing all its charm and becoming a concrete jungle.There are virtually no trees in the city, let alone water features. I cannot believe that you can’t find a way to fix the leak and so what if a few people bathe in it. What’s the big deal in that??? Go to any fountain or water feature in any city in the world and at some time you will see people in it. They are moved on. Please stop paving over the city. Plant some trees and leave the pond alone.Please go to www.cityhall.bm and go to contact us”.
