August 5, 2012.Dear Sir,I was recently in America and a couple of medical people commented that there seems to be a lot of Bermudians coming there for treatment. I told them like it is, a lot of Bermudians are afraid to go to the hospital in Bermuda. I told them about the woman who was given the wrong medication and can’t walk anymore, I told them about the guy who went to the hospital complaining about vomiting and gagging three times and was sent home three times and told nothing was wrong with him except blood pressure. I told them how he had to refuse to leave the hospital and then found out he had cancer. They couldn’t believe it but I told them that it was the truth, no exaggeration and that it’s been going on for years without any accountability, hardly any.I also told them that none of the political parties give a hoot once they get into power, not about the hospital. How can anyone silently stand by and not demand an investigation?UNITY SAVESDevonshireP.s.
