Wake up Bermuda
November 21, 2012Dear Sir,This is in answer to the letter written by the Registered Voter living in Wayne Furbert and Donte Hunt’s constituency that was published in The Royal Gazette on November 20, 2012. Mr Editor, this is truly a case of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. How in the world can anyone take Wayne Furbert seriously? He has shown that he has no credibility and is not worthy of being taken seriously. How can he in all honesty say that his recent visit to Registered Voter’s home under the Progressive Labour Party banner asking for his vote when only a few years ago he was there asking this same person for his vote under the banner of the former United Bermuda Party is genuine? This is absolutely ludicrous. Wayne Furbert who calls himself a man of God should be ashamed of himself and I have to ask, where is his conscience?I have witnessed Wayne Furbert crying crocodile tears because he was so overwhelmed when he was made leader of the former UBP. He stood there giving thanks to God for giving him the opportunity to lead his “beloved” UBP party for the good of Bermuda and now he is professing his PLP loyalty to Registered Voter as he did under the UBP banner five years ago. What a hypocrite … what a Judas. Please people, you need to tell this man to get lost and to go and get a decent job that will stop feeding at the trough kept full by the poor taxpayer. To Registered Voter, see this for what it is worth. We need to move forward, and the PLP’s track record shows that they do not have the ability to do this. It is all about them retaining power at our expense for their own personal comfort. Wake up Bermuda, read the cashier’s tape and you will see how this Government has mismanaged, misappropriated (?) taxpayer funds, and have practically turned this Island into a third world country. Just look around you and ask yourself, “Am I better off now than I was five, ten or 14 years ago” — and if you are astute, you will see the answer.PAT FERGUSON
