November 17, 2012Dear Sir,Please allow me an opportunity to present a question to your readers. Are you a person/manager with a Jekyll and Hyde personality? The Jekyll side is the charming side, convincing enough to deceive people (i.e. the act). The Hyde side can be described as the evil side (the real person). People of this nature cannot be trusted or relied upon as they may pursue a vindictive vendetta against anyone who dares to hold them accountable. They are generally control freaks with a compulsive need to control everyone and everything spoken, done, thought and believed. They display a compulsive need to criticise whilst simultaneously refusing to value, praise and acknowledge others, their achievements, or their existence. They will attempt to undermine and destroy anyone who they perceive to be an adversary, a potential threat, or who can see through their mask. They despise those who enable others to see their deception. They are quick to belittle, undermine, denigrate and discredit anyone who calls, attempts to call, or might call them to account.They are generally arrogant, haughty, high-handed and have a know-all attitude. They are often mean spirited, officious and unbelievably petty. They gain gratification from denying people what they are entitled to, and are convinced of their superiority and they have an overbearing belief in their qualities of leadership. They, however, cannot distinguish between leadership (maturity, decisiveness, assertiveness, cooperation, trust and integrity) and bullying (immaturity, impulsiveness, aggression, manipulation, distrust and deceitfulness). If you possess any of the above-mentioned characteristics, and you know what you are doing is wrong but choose to continue the bad behaviour, then you must be wary of potential backlash. On the other hand, if you possess the above-mentioned characteristics and are totally unaware that your behaviour is out of order, then you should be removed from your position and be made to undergo a mental health analysis because (putting it bluntly) you are probably not fit enough to manage your own life.SWE(Someone With Ethics)Devonshire
