December 6, 2012Dear Sir,It is important to recognise that the Progressive Labour Party Government has spent over $10 billion in the last 14 years. Yes, 10 billion dollars! In Tuesday’s Royal Gazette, there is a PLP advertisement acclaiming their accomplishments in that same time period. Surely every voter who studies this list will realise what a meagre and sad list of accomplishments the PLP government have made over the last 14 years and with $10 billion dollars. Some things were important, yes, but $10 billion? Bermuda and Bermudians deserve better than this. And to think that we are now crippled with massive debt and joblessness must make us know that we need a change and some positive vision.Where did that money go? Certainly not to the people, just read their list. Overall it is pathetic considering the money spent. It is now time for a change. The PLP have had their chance. But now we need to put candidates into our Government that will be responsible for the good of all Bermudians. Bermuda’s future is about working together for our future and that of our children. Please vote for change. Bermuda needs it. You need it. Your children need it! Don’t be fooled.CHANGE MERCHANTDevonshire
