Doing things differently

February 15, 2013Dear Sir,No wonder we have the fatalities on our roads that we have. Correct me if I’m wrong: When there is oncoming traffic coming directly toward you, would it be imperative to say that this is not the time to pass the vehicle in front of you? It seems on Bermuda roads, that the motorbikes see things a little different. Apparently, in the eyes of many bike riders, the time to pass is on a (blind) corner or when there is oncoming traffic. For the record; I believe these 125cc and 150cc motor bikes are too powerful for Bermuda; with our speed limit of 20mph, not to mention the narrow, winding roads, and no, I do not believe we should try and straighten out all the corners. That just makes people go faster. We all need to slow down.SYDNEYPaget
