Time to take action

Dear Sir,

Try to imagine this extremely cost effective speed calming campaign. Okay give it a chance! All government cars/trucks used by government employees cannot exceed the mandated speed limit by more than 5kph thereby driving no more than 40kph at any time. Traffic would need to slow down or take the deadly decision to overtake. The vehicles would include community nurses, Works & Engineering, etc. Talk about a cost effective road calming effect which would free up the police service to concentrate on major issues. There are well over 100 department government cars on the roads at any time. Can you imagine about better utilisation of government resources to solve our excessive speeding issues?
