Give the ‘Family Circle’ a long holiday

April 20, 2013

Dear Sir,

As I sit down to write this latter, I find I am joined by a great many people, who like myself, wish the gathering circle of carpentry, called “Family Circle” in the lobby or foyer of the City Hall be given a long projected holiday as I am told they have been standing around in various rooms for seven years.

Can I rely on you Graeme Outerbridge, Mayor of the City of Hamilton, to use your influence and sense of good taste to remove this spectacle.

I am told it causes the young school children who visit on a field trip for an experience and enlightenment quite a disturbance.

We have the finest artists here on this lovely little Island. Let us hope by the time the tourists arrive in full swing they will see much of it displayed in our beautiful City Hall building.
