April 30, 2013Dear Sir,Today was a bad day for me. As it’s the end of the month, most people are going around paying bills to the respective companies. I am sure I am not the only one having a struggle and so one of my usual places to stop in to is BCA (Bermuda Credit Association).I walked up to the desk and had what I can call a virtual slap to the face. I look up and on the associates desk who served me was a big bold sign that read “Due to the economic times, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.”Now I can understand that in some cases this may come across as a joke and could in some cases in fact be funny, BUT when you walk into a place like BCA to honestly try and get your life (and your credit) back together, this sign I felt was distasteful, hurtful and totally out of line. I will be writing a letter to the manager of BCA as well as yourselves to let them know of my feelings, but felt as though the public should also know.REBECCA PEDRO
