Group have broken their own golden rule

Dear Sir,“The group of churches is asking for changes to the Act which would give faith based institutions the right to discriminate against homosexuals in employment and membership policies and have issued a “positional statement” on the issue.”This statement is absurd. It breaks the golden rule of love, which is one of the central teachings of their Chirst. Further it is a base assumption that everyone in Bermuda subscribes to the Agnotology (cultural induced ignorance) and collective corruption of these same churches themselves.Making a personal preference a moral absolute is not an inherent right. The right to freedom of speech is inherent, the right to freedom of assembly is an inherent right. The right of freedom of spirituality, or none at all, is an inherent right. To prove my point that the churches are breaking their own spiritual teachings (i.e. the golden rule) and that they want to be “more equal than others” shows the depths of their antipathy against other people.Understand this: A human rights gain by another is not a loss for you, unless you never intended to follow the golden rule in the first place. Hate is not a human right. Discrimination against another is not a human right. The churches are trying their best to be a legal hate group. How about if Bermuda decided to remove your tax free status? The people in Italy are now having to pull the leash of the Catholic Church (from which all of you emanate) and revoke its corrupt banking practices, and tax The Vatican. Will the churches of Bermuda next ask for special dispensation to harbour paedophiles within their ranks. Will they ask for a legal right to burn women at the stake, and whip people at the flagpole in Hamilton if they don’t go to church? How far do they want to go?GOLDEN RULE
