Take great responsibility’, just went up a notch

February 7, 2014

Dear Sir,

“With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility”. Might sound like something, you’ve heard in a Spiderman movie but in reality, it’s a lot when we’re talking about new buses -vs-some of these bus drivers. Some of the accidents, we’ve seen already, have actually, been caused by some of the bus drivers themselves. They’re zooming this way, zooming that way, without a care in the world for others on the road, complaining that they’re making time — to go where?

Some of you drive like, you’re trying to go to the moon PTB, should be held accountable and any accidents that happen, should come out of the driver’s pay (naturally as they shouldn’t feel the need, to drive fast now). It’s bad enough we have cellphone/text drivers/riders plus, some taxi drivers who fail to use indicators, ‘Old Senile Drivers’ and riders who ride like there’s nobody else on the road, as it is). So basically that ‘Great Responsibility’, just went up a notch (any accidents they cause, it falls on them).

Another thing that needs to happen pronto is, students paying to ride the busses. Students get too rowdy these days with how they carry on and, it needs to end! If us middle age individuals and the older ones before us had to pay, why can’t they? After all, some come to school with an iPhone, an iPad, and any other ‘i’ thing which, costs way more than a book of tickets ($20).

And here I thought education came first.
