Dear Sir,

I write in response to Mr David Williams’s letter in today’s paper (March 17th) re: banning food in court building.

I wholeheartedly concur with Mr Williams. I too had the exact same experience the only difference being a staff member that I knew was allowed to take my food. This exchange was made in front of security. We travelled together in the elevator, she handed me my small slice of cake. I proceeded to my destination, with my cake, returned to the lobby and walked out of the building.

I felt a basket could be made available to place one’s food in and collect on return.
