Dear Sir,

We are now currently three months into this (not so new) year and the residential speeds of 50/100MB unveiled early last year by CableVison is still not available.

I know it’s in the pipeline, but it would be helpful if someone at the Regulatory Authority could find out exactly what galaxy in the planetary system this pipeline is connected to so we, the public, can get a better sense of how much longer it will be.

At this point CableVision should adjust what they planned to offer as well. The new speeds should be 50/75/100MB. That way the slowest speeds 4 & 6MB could be eliminated, with the new tier starting at either 8 or preferably 15 MB, thus making the starting prices what 4 & 6MB were.

It truly perplexes me to know some would think that Digicel or any other business that is not a brother or sister company entering the market would be a bad thing. There is no other reason that CableVision are dragging their feet with this other than greed and lack of true competition.
