Find a solution to end the monopoly.

Remember how expensive telephone calls and cellphones were before competition arrived? The same with Belco — there should be a comfort zone of competition.

Belco has lost income due to empty housing, gas and solar panels, and people cutting back on their use in the hopes of reducing an expensive commodity.

So whether it’s to keep profits up or keep shareholders happy, it seems we are going to be penalised for our electricity use. We will continue to be held over a barrel until someone comes up with another form of power and offers competitive costs.
