Dear Sir,

I feel I must give warning to the general public. The road that leads to Bailey’s Bay dock is unsafe, particularly to vehicular traffic.

There is a large cavern directly underneath the road leading to the dock, which may at any time lead to the road caving in.

I would urge anyone who drives their vehicle down to the dock to refrain from doing so until the hole has been fixed by the Ministry of Public Works, which has been notified.

The hole is directly underneath the road at its narrowest point, at the northernmost end of the beach.
