Dear Sir,

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to this island for what was a truly great Good Friday.

My wife and I took our children to South Shore early in the morning for a quick kite fly. No sooner had we unrolled our blanket and bat kites did we meet a local family who insisted we fly two of their beautiful, home-made kites that were already up and humming.

We were so thrilled, I called some friends and family last minute to come and join us. The weather was incredible, the sea so blue; everyone was having a great time.

Later in the day, when we tried to return the kites, we were told they were a blessing — and a blessing cannot be given back. I was stunned and subsequently passed one of the kites on.

It was the best “Bermudaful” experience that I have had in years. Extra special thanks to the Hill family and clan. Respect.
