In your sister publication RG’s September 2016 issue’s high-profile interview with the Bermudian co-founder of the Toronto chapter of the group Black Lives Matter, Alexandria Williams, which was recently distributed with copies of your newspaper, Ms Williams is quoted (page 30) as stating that “there was a time when it was illegal for black people to vote” in Bermuda, but her assertion is, to the best of my knowledge as a local historian, untrue.
