Every voter should express concerns on airport
Dear Sir,
I am grateful for, and wish to express my appreciation to, Wendell M. Hollis and Andrew Outerbridge for their contribution in The Royal Gazette on February 2.
If the One Bermuda Alliance and its finance minister are not responsive to their proposals, it will be more than evident that it is not Bermuda or the airport, but their ego that has priority.
Most of all financial consideration, as well as concern for more Bermudian involvement and Bermudian heritage and culture, makes their case for them.
Certainly, the Bermuda Tourist Authority, as well as the hotel association and construction association, should give them their support. In fact, every voter and, in particular, those who support the OBA, and who also are concerned about these very important issues, should contact the Government in the hope of talking sense into them.
