Israel had 1.9 for every million, which equates to one scanner for every 526,315 persons.

Britain has 5.6 for every million, which equates to one scanner for every 178,571 persons.

The United States has 25.9 for every million, which equates to one scanner for every 38,610 persons.

These figures are for the year 2009.
