Time to goJuly 12, 2011Dear Sir,The PLP have failed miserably at governing Bermuda. They do not have the ability to solve problems and they are not able to attract people who can help them. They are among the best at identifying problems and, after 13 years, are still putting the blame on the UBP. But the next original and proactive thought will be their first.Why would anyone, black or white or even from St David’s, want to elect people who can’t deal with and solve problems but still maintain that they should travel the world and get ginormous salaries to boot. In 1998, there were maybe two PLP MPs who were in business themselves (in other words, they understood the difference between paying a salary as opposed to receiving one) and there have been precious few since then. These people can identify and detail all the problems of the world including Bermuda but they couldn’t actually solve anything without asking Ewart how to do it.The people of Bermuda who need the most help are the people whom the PLP purport to represent.
