Vaccination passport a great idea
Dear Sir,
I would like to make a suggestion on helping protecting everyone from Covid.
It was of great interest in today's Royal Gazette (January 18, 2021) where Carika Weldon spoke about vaccination passports, which I think is a great idea.
I think governments around the world as well the airlines/cruise lines should make it mandatory for anyone wanting to travel to have the vaccine together with a negative test.
There has been some talk from the airlines that they will, in fact, do this for travel and that one will need to prove they have had the vaccine.
I know the airlines are requiring testing at the moment, but I think as the vaccine gets rolled out, this should be a requirement for travel.
If I was to travel, I would want to know that everyone on the flight/cruise line had been vaccinated and tested!
This keeps everyone and Bermuda safe from the virus. Surely, this would be a sensible move and help to take the politics out of this very important health crisis.
