Admiralty House Park not being cared for

Admiralty House Park (Photograph by Akil Simmons)

Dear Sir,

I noticed in the past months there has been a lot of debris left around Admiralty House Park grounds. It is very difficult to walk the small pathways. I have to say I am disappointed as this park used to be kept in immaculate condition.

On the other side, there is a lady (I didn’t get her name) that works at Admiralty House Park that shows a great passion for the park, which is used by many — tourists, locals, athletes, campers, dog walkers and also for events and weddings. This lady outworks the men and really shows pride in her work. She is also always outgoing and friendly. I sure hope her boss shows appreciation, as a good employee is a gem. Even a small token of appreciation does wonders.

I don’t know what has changed in the last months, but it hasn’t been for the better. Please bring the park back to its former glory.

Thank you,

One of the dog walkers.
