Dear Sir,

You may want to consider the response I received from Barbara Allan, a member of the International Board of JC2033 in Switzerland, regarding my letter to the editor on March 27, 2026. In that letter, I discussed JC2033, a global movement that unites Christians to witness collectively and celebrate the 2000th anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in 2033.

As I read your message, I couldn’t help but think that you are far more than a “lowly JC2033 friend”. Your enthusiasm and support feel very much like that of a true JC2033 ambassador, and we are deeply grateful for that.

If you would be interested in becoming the very first JC2033 Ambassador for Bermuda, I would be absolutely delighted to explore that with you. Please do let me know if this is something that excites you.

The JC2033 board has endorsed me as Bermuda's first Ambassador to promote networking and Easter annual celebrations leading up to 2033. I’m to spread the vision and stories from the JC2033’s international office and share in global prayer services for these events.

Leading up to 2033, ambassadors will be tasked with going the extra mile to celebrate the significant events of the first Holy Week. These events include Palm Sunday, the cleansing of the Temple, the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, the crucifixion on Good Friday, the burial, and the Resurrection. These significant events will be honoured during the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of Christianity.

I’m considering the JC 2033 offer to become an ambassador for the project.
