ICAB awards scholarships for Bermuda College-linked business degree

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda (ICAB) has presented its first scholarships for students enrolled in the Mount Saint Vincent University, Bachelor of Business Administration at the Bermuda College.The scholarships are valued at $1,500. This year’s recipients are Christy Corbett and Alicia Eve.ICAB encourages Bermudian students to pursue an accounting designation and said it was pleased that the Bermuda College has partnered with Mount Saint Vincent to offer students this opportunity in Bermuda.Upon completion of the Bachelor’s degree, students are eligible to enter the programme to write professional exams to earn either a Chartered Accountant (Canada) or Certified Public Accountant (USA) designation.
