Euromoney names Butterfield Island’s best private bank

UK publication Euromoney has named Butterfield Bank as Bermuda’s best private bank in its 2012 Global Private Banking Survey. Butterfield was also ranked number one in Bermuda for “Relationship Management” and its “Range of Investment Products”.In the Cayman Islands, Butterfield’s Cayman branch was similarly ranked number one in the jurisdiction for private banking “Relationship Management” and “Net-Worth-Specific Services for Super Affluent” clientele. It was ranked second in the category of “Best Private Banking Services Overall”.In Barbados, Butterfield Bank (Barbados) Ltd tied for first place in the Survey’s ranking of “Range of Investment Products”.“We are honoured that Euromoney has recognised Butterfield as being the top provider of private banking services in Bermuda,” said Nir Sadeh, Butterfield’s senior vice-president and head of Private Banking in Bermuda. “We place a priority on client service and offering highly customised banking and wealth management solutions.
