Three promotions at Deloitte

Deloitte Bermuda has announced three promotions into leadership roles, effective April 1 this year.Nicole Valadao has been named director, Enterprise Risk Services (ERS), while both Anna Burns and Muhammad Khan take the title of principal, Audit Services.Ms Valadao started her career with Arthur Andersen in Winnipeg, Canada, and joined Deloitte in Bermuda in 2002.Over her career, she has worked extensively in the insurance industry, serving large and small audit clients and has significant experience in IPOs and mergers and acquisitions projects.She obtained an internal audit qualification in 2006 and will lead Deloitte’s ERS service line, focusing on the delivery of internal audit co-sourcing services.Ms Burns started her career with PwC in Melbourne, Australia, and joined Deloitte in Bermuda in 2004.She has extensive audit experience serving both the insurance and investment company industries in Bermuda, has been involved in the development and delivery of industry training programmes for the firm, and has assisted with internal quality processes and compliance with regulations.Mr Khan started his career with Deloitte in Karachi, Pakistan, and joined Deloitte in Bermuda in 2000.
