Entrepreneur and author McCal Roberts was in the US last week on a second tour to promote his book ‘Bonded’ which is set to be made into a movie.Mr Roberts visited Philadelphia, Atlantic City and New York, signing copies of his book in stores. The tour was organised by his publisher Trafford.The book is set in a fantasy universe ruled by unicorns. Mr Roberts explained that Trafford owns the movie rights and had the opportunity to present it to a group of producers and directors.The tech entrepreneur said the movie was scheduled to come out in 2014.Already, another book is in the pipeline. “I’ve been working on the second book, ‘The Chronicles of Bonded’, which will be coming out in October or November,” Mr Roberts said.He added that he had enjoyed great support from Premier Paula Cox, who had written him a letter thanking him for being an ambassador for Bermuda.The subject of Bermuda was often a topic of conversation when he is signing books in the US, he said.‘Bonded’ is available online from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Trafford Publishing (at www.Trafford.com).
