Bermuda Realty puts strong emphasis on training
Each day this week, The Royal Gazette will profile the companies that made the top five of The Bottom Line magazine’s 2012 Top 10 Employers in Bermuda survey, this year sponsored by professional services firm PwC.Realtor Bermuda Realty Company, took the third spot on this year’s Top 10 list, rising up from being named to the Honourable Mention list in 2011.Founded in 1957, the company has 45 employees, 96 percent of whom are Bermudian.Employees cite strong company leadership and training opportunities as two of the top reasons why Bermuda Realty is a good place to work.The company focuses heavily on in-house training and coaching programmes. New agents are able to shadow the president of the company on sales listings and employees are allowed flexible work arrangements.Discounted gym memberships are available and the company stages an Annual Fitness Challenge run by Nutrifit.
