Home Show attracts more than 60 companies
Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty says more than 60 companies have signed up to take part in this year’s annual home show — now in its 11th year.The companies will be showcasing their products and services.The Coldwell Banker Home Show is being held at CedarBridge Academy again, and kicks off on Friday, February 15.The event will run from 3:00pm to 8:00pm on the Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturday. Admission is free.The realtor says it will focus on volunteering in the community at this year’s show.Brian Madeiros, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty, said: “We are focused on community involvement and finding ways to help organisations through volunteering and non-monetary donations.“Difficult economic times have impacted everyone’s pocket book but you don’t have to have money to give back.”The realtor will showcase some of the groups they have worked with this year including the Centre on Philanthropy, Age Concern and the Coalition for the Protection of Children.In the company’s efforts to support the community in unique ways, they have elected the Pembroke Parish Community Feeding Programmes (charity#306) as the recipient for their “2013 Winter Blues” campaign.Each Friday (December through March), staff are permitted to wear blue jeans if they bring in a non-perishable food item for donation.And since the 2013 Home Show falls on a Friday, Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty will also have a food donation bin at their registration booth in the Blue Zone at the annual Home Show and would like to encourage exhibitors and visitors to the home show to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to this worthy cause.The Royal Gazette will be taking part in the home show, showcasing our new Homefinder section.
