Fuel prices go up

The cost of filling up at the gas station has gone up. Fuel prices have risen across the board, with the new maximum pump price for regular gasoline hitting $2.19, up 5.3 cents. The new price is eight cents higher than a year ago.Drivers who use diesel are paying more as the cost of a litre has risen 6.6 cents to $1.97. Kerosene costs 7.6 cents more at $1.70 per litre.The new maximum prices for fuel, which went into effect on February 15, were announced yesterday by the Ministry of Finance.
