If you didn’t manage to make it to the discount clothing store The New Outlet, you’ve missed your chance because the shop has closed.Opening its doors in November, the Front Street retailer was never meant to stay around for long — just until the shop ran out of merchandise.Offering deep discounts on men’s and ladies’ fashions from the sale racks of The English Sports Shop, Boutique CC and Cecile’s, the shop was a popular spot over Christmas. Customers found clothing up to 80 percent off regular retail price.The Royal Gazette confirmed the closure after enquiries were made regarding the empty store front.
